Provisions within the act will promote innovation investments that include savvy cyber operation centers that will serve across state lines. The overall move by congress has the additional effect of promoting a culture of cybersecurity proactivity which benefits all individuals, groups and businesses across the country.
The cybersecurity grant program must also be linked with strong technical assistance and services. Due to this neccesity, the US Senate and House are driven to propel the growth of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency..
The US (and its many corporations) seem to understand that bolting security on top of legacy infrastructure typically results in uninspiring outcomes. With regards to emerging technologies like 5G, developing security directly within the service offering is crucial.
